When most people think of miracles they think of the miracle of life, Jennifer and Brad getting back together, the Seahawks winning the super bowl, you know those kinds of things... I however think of finding a nail polish that will last without chipping for two weeks!
About three month ago my friend Maggie helped me experience my own little miracle when she introduced me to SHELLAC! I was a little sceptical, usually my manicure has already started chipping as I'm driving out of the nail salon parking lot, and don't get my started on the hassle of getting my keys out of my purse and buckling my seat belt without getting a smudge. Total nightmare.
The beauty of Shellac is that it drys instantly and there is no possibility of smudging! That, along with the fact that it ACTUALLY lasts two weeks without chipping makes it the most amazing nail product to date!
It's perfect for week long vacations and activities that your usual polish doesn't stand a chance. I seriously recommend it and you will die over the glossy finish.
Now that I've made it seem like you should be walking around with gloves on unless your nails are Shellaced let me tell you about the down falls... it is more expensive then a regular manicure (but again, lasts longer) and you do have to have it done at the salon because of the special UV light used to set the polish.
There are numerous salons offering Shellac now but if you're looking for a place in Bellevue I recommend Casabella Spa & Nails, the facility is clean, staff is friendly and they have a great selection of colors.
